circumvallate papillae?

I know a lot about circumvallate papillae, mine happen to be enlarged. What I want to know, is can I do anything to reduce them? They're causing a "dry" feeling in my throat, which is pretty annoying... Thanks!

Do you brush your tongue hard? if you do, they will enlarge.
