Yes it is a good food, read your ingredient list. If Chicken is the 1st or 2nd item on the list it's a good meat source food. I like the foods that are higher in meat then follow with a good carb.

It's as good as many of the other premium brands. Still, I wouldn't feed it to my dogs until there is a definite answer about the cause of recalled foods. No dry authority was recalled, but it was just announced that Natural Balance, another brand that is often recommended, has issued a recall for some dry dog and cat foods.

I switched from Puppy Chow to Authority and I've seen a lot of improvement in my dogs skin and coat.

authority is a petsmart brand, petsmart pays a generic food company to market food that they can sell as comparative to iams and eukanuba
im not saying its bad, but i wouldnt feed it to my dogs

Since I can't find an ingredients list on Petsmart's website I'm skeptical. I wouldn't feed it or recommend it without seeing a real ingredients list. Not just highlights of the couple of ingredients they are 'proud' of.
