(-: You could try a wholesale warehouse, but you might wind up with too much.

Or you could try a substitute: get a salt-only-flavored tortilla chip (like Tostitos), and some Velveeta or American processed cheese, some milk and some jalapeno peppers (or a nice salsa will work if you don't mind the tomato chunks).

Cut the cheese in cubes, put in a microwave-safe bowl, and add a little milk to the bottom. Zap it for about a minute (or until the cheese bubbles) then stir. If it seems too thick, add a little more milk, if too thin add some more cheese cubes. When it's a little thin (it will firm up as it cools down), take it out of the microwave and add sliced jalapeno to taste (or salsa). Warm your Tostitos up, too, for the best taste -- I prefer putting them in a toaster oven for one or two minutes, but you can microwave them as well.

This will be even tastier than movie theater nachos! And you can control the spiciness.

Have fun experimenting!

You can buy the big cans at Costco, Sam's Club or a restaurant supply store - Smart and Final or Cash n Carry.

However, I was walking through the supermarket and now there's little jars of nacho cheese sauce - right next to the chips, adjacent to the Fritos Bean Dip.

I don't know if it's the same as the movie theaters, but it looks cheesy and very dip-able.

In your local supermarket. I buy it all the time. Get the Tostito's tortilla chips and the Con Queso Cheese Dip in a jar. The cheese dip is usually in the same aisle. All you have to do is take the top off of the jar and heat the dip in your microwave.
