Are you sure the relationship is totally over? If the problem was she didn't think you were committed enough, the proof that you were prepared to get engaged might have helped the situation.
If the problem was that she never saw you - with you working
two jobs and going to school part-time - then perhaps you could cut down on something to give her some more time.
But if its just you've grown apart, or something big happened and there's no chance, you have to let it go.
But me personally I would hang onto the rings for now, 3 weeks isn't that long, if there is a chance of reconciliation.
If time passes, and no relationship results, then getting rid of the rings would be one way of putting a full stop on this period of your life. You could sell them, or pass them onto a female relative, or do what my brother did.
My brother had an engagement break up and the fiance returned the ring. He said that he wouldn't give them it another woman (TACKY) so he had it remodeled into a pendant.

I kinda agree with them all. I think it is best to wait until you are ready to let go of the releationshipe completely, You said that it has been 3 weeks. I can understand that you don't want anyone else to have the rings. If you don't want to return them to the store, go to a large body of water or to the mountains and throw it far away. That way the pain is out of your life and no one will ever be able to have those rings. Hope this helps a little

persist including your weapons in this one sweetheart. nevertheless the ex on no account wore it, while he offered it the ring grew to become into for her and he had her in recommendations. maybe he might desire to easily pawn it and use that money to p.c.. out a hoop for YOU!!!! If he's gonna be an insensitive, low fee jerk approximately it than maybe you may desire to think again your concepts right here. you're actually not being unreasonable in any respect, a hoop is an exceedingly specific image of his love for you and how he envisions his destiny with you in it. Marriage is an exceedingly specific component and that i think of human beings now a days lose sight of what it extremely ability and kinda do exactly it because of the fact anybody is doing it. He has to comprehend that that distinctive ring is a logo of what his feeling have been for somebody else and that i may well be offended that he even theory it grew to become into ok to furnish it to you. stay enterprise in this one......i'm hoping all of it works out for you!!

two jobs and college is a very busy life let a alone you had a fiance. well good for you that you knew that you had responsibilities to pay off and a degree to accomplish.
too bad she did not see the light at the end of the tunnel.
whatever you do... do not go back to her. find someone else who will appreciate you and support you.
just think, best it happened to you now than if you were married.

ebay, sweetheart. Get your money back (or most of it) and move on with your life... and be glad that it happened NOW instead of AFTER the wedding when the mess to clean up would have been a lot bigger.
{{hug}} good luck to ya...
