The good news is that motivation is a choice. This means that you can have as much as you choose to have:)
Here is more info on the subject.

fortunately being young time is on your side.
have you identified why "you" have weight problems? lack of exercise, fatty foods, sugars, etc..?
here are some basic guidelines:
consume at least 64 oz. of water daily (8 glasses) - the human metabolism can not operate at optimum efficiency if the body is dehydrated. try to stay hydrated, once you feel thirsty the body is already dehydrated.
eat smaller meals more frequently improves nutrient uptake- this gives the body nutrients that it needs to function properly over the course of the day. the body has no storage capacity for many micronutrients (vitamins/minerals) it uses what it needs at the moment and excretes the rest
eating smaller meals during the course of the day prevents from overeating at night
keeps insulin levels stable over the course of the day. no more crashing after big meals, etc.
30 grams of fiber daily. the higher the fiber intake the lower resting serum insulin levels will be. when insulin is increased too high fat burning is halted

Grab a pal to do it with you. I find more motivation if someone is in in with me. Also find a workout you semi-enjoy. The cardio (running) part you may not like, but if you like hiking or doing exercise videos, then embrace those. Also, be sure to eat healthy. You lose one pound for every 3500 calories you burn that you aren't intaking. So make sure you eat healthy and find some source of motivation.
Also giving up soda and drinking more water can change your body drastically. (I drink a lot of flavored water, so I drin healthy but still get a taste.)
Good luck ! Hope this helps :) Feel free to hit me up with anymore questions.

Just to affirm that it works, try Weight Watchers. I've lost 23 lbs. since Jan. 3rd without starving myself. It's really common sense, eat better foods (fruits, veggies) in proper portions and add in some physical activity. I'm not talking about killing yourself exercising, just do something active every day. Walk. Little things help, like taking stairs and parking far away from stores, etc. Good luck!

join a group such as weight watchers, or even create your own group. Try losing weight w/ a friend or family member. When you are ready to lose weight, you have to be in the right mindset or else you won't be able to lose it. feel confident that yes u can change your body (its kinda cool isn't it? we cant change our genes but we can stilll make radical changes to our appearances). try to keep in a positive attitude, and have someone who you can talk to and who can encourage you as you go through this very difficult process. I wish you the best of luck and i can't wait to hear your success story!!!!
