I recently found the BusterCube was PetSmart and was told it was too big for my now 10wk old yorkie/toy fox terrier mix so when I went to Petco I found a mini BusterCube and it said for dogs 0-22lbs so I bought one for my puppy and I let her sniff the hole where I put her food in it and rolled it around for her, but she doesn't seem to understand that if she rolls it around she'll get the food out. Does BusterCube for their dog, does it work? Has anyone heard of it? Any suggestions on how to get my pup to play with it?

Just keep trying what you're doing, encourage her to nose it, paw at it etc. She'll learn.

Or a little easier version of the Buster Cube, is a treat ball, same concept only in ball form. After she plays with that for awhile she may catch onto the Buster Cube a little better.

I know my dogs love their Buster Cubes and their treat balls.

I have a buster cube!!!
My dog loves it.
She didn't get it at first either.
My brothers had to sit at opposite sides of the living room and roll it back and forth while she scarfed up the food that rolled out.
After 3 or 4 rolls they put it in front of her. At first she stared at it like "OK, give me the food", they rolled it again then set it in front of her and she sort of nudged it (mostly by accident) with her nose just enough for more food to fall out. Then, she "got it". We have to hide it from her now.

Try using her paw to roll it.
Try hiding food under it so she has to move it by "accident".

Hope this helps.

you might as well have given an infant a gameboy and wondered why he didnt get it

just give him some time, that is an advanced skill for an animal who has had less than 3 months on the planet
