A pregnant stomach isn't ugly if it's covered. I think it's not good to look at when a woman is completely out of shape durning her pregnancy. But a woman that is proud of her belly should continue to be. But to an extent there should be some sort of discreet way to show it but not show it "all " off at the same time.

Ok, I AM pregnant and will be when it is bikini season. I don't feel the need to expose a heavily pregnant belly. My husband thinks I'm beautiful because its our child in there and all of that business. However, for pool and beach purposes the tummy need not come out. It sends a mixed message because the bikini is traditionally "sexier" than a one piece or a tankini and with a big belly hanging out there and when you're going to be a mother, it seems like some degree of modesty and self restraint is in order. Its contradictory and that's why its gross. Some people may argue that they are proud of their pregnant belly and their baby etc, and of course pretty much all mothers are. It isn't necessary to go all out and bear the belly when its so clearly obvious that one is pregnant.

I think that it is gross...I also find it annoying when pregnant women feel the need to tell you all about the pregnancy. I am not the one to give sympathy. I am female and I am engaged to a great guy....however I do not want children, I cannot stand children, especially babies, and I have no desire to be pregnant. Why do pregnant women always assume that just because I am female, i want to procreate too? i think that it is just as rude as the guys making comments about the pregnant lady at the beach.

i think of it has some thing to do with what we've been taught is gorgeous and beautiful. A bodily extra healthful individual is defined as proper and subsequently, we don't draw back on the sight of them. on the different hand, an obese individual is defined as undeserving, undesirable, and regularly unattractive (i'm no longer dissing all people, i do no longer accept as true with this logic). subsequently, we lower back faraway from the sight of uncovered dermis. i'm no longer asserting I agree, yet this seems to be the final concept between the inhabitants. by skill of how, a pregnant abdomen is thoroughly diverse than that of an obese individual.

Some men find pregnant women very attractive, but you are correct, either way, manners should still apply. And guys at the beach are not interested in the philosophical aspects of life when they go their.

Pregnancy is a beautiful state to be in! It is always bad manners to do or say anything that make a person feel bad or self conscious. The boys at the beach were wrong if they made their feeling obvious.

I think it's odd on the beach or at a pool, but I think pregnant bellies are beautiful in pictures.

It's the same with breasts.... some men don't like the fact that our bodies aren't ONLY for their pleasure. They will probably change their minds though when their wives are pregnant with their babies.

Yes, it is gross. As gross as a pot bellied man exposing his pot belly. Nothing nice or sexy about it.

Pregnancy is beautiful...
I mean, that's how all of us got here. I think it's one of God's best ideas... afterall, continually making all of us out of the ground or out of star dust is not nearly as efficient or as fulfilling.
