Some know that they never really left, it was only a dream, they did not have to "accept" Jesus.

Could be lots of reasons. One may not like the constant harp music. And hey, there's no bagpipes there, so what's a decent Scot supposed to do? Only recreation is bowling -in the rain, yet. And sometimes a guy just wants to get out of the all-white and go with black for a change. I'm not so sure they can come back once they leave. Last I heard, it was a Gate, not a revolving door.

Well, as a student psychologist I would say it could be similar to certain mental disorders that are linked to lack of sensory stimuli. Take ADHD for example. People with this disorder tend to be "fidgety" partly because they need more stimulation, their brains are not firing properly to process the physical/cognitive stimulation they are getting perhaps. Likewise, paradise might be fun for a while, we can rest and rejuvenate our souls, but then we get bored and need more spiritual stimulation. So we come back to the unpredictability of living, which gives us more opportunities to ponder the mysteries of life a little more, which instigates more input, and therefore stimulation, to soul-life, so that we might expand more spiritually. I'm getting at a personal theory that perhaps the soul needs stimulation to grow just like the brain and body do.
I do believe we come back again and again, because that is part of our, as humans, "work", to learn and grow as spiritual beings. Physics has shown that the universe is ever-expanding, not imploding. Well, I see this reincarnation as part of the web of universal expansion.

Foolishly they believe this 'the grass is greener on the other side..' stuff they are fed. And off they go, in search of I know not what, led by yet more people that have never seen what they are looking for.
And 'back'? When they learn to listen to 'themselves' for a change.

Paradise is nice for a rest and treat. However the challenges put to us in life, or that we can seek out... which require planning, ingenuity, work, bravery and risk.... are the real reward - much more so than dossing around in Paradise.

they leave cos its too comfy & cosy. they want adventure just like we on earth leave our comfy sofas on a leasurely sunday to run the gruelling marathon etc. this helps these souls to then yearn for heaven again, evolve spiritually & then go back to paradise when they have better appreciation of the nature of the meaning of life.
