First off, don't count calories. It's good to be AWARE of your calories, but don't just count them. You'll end up fearing calories, which isn't healthy.

2) The BEST way to lose weight is to eat in moderation, stopping when you're full and only eating when you're hundry, AND eating fruits and veggies. Also, drink a lot of water. You want to lose weight slooowly. You need to change your lifestyle, not just add a stricter diet.

3) You exercise, which is good! I'm guessing that you've lost more than 9 pounds but have gained it back in muscle mass. You're healthier that way.

See a nutritionist or holistic practitioner. My chiropractor has me on a 25 day body cleansing/detox program to make me feel better overall and get my body back on track. I understand how confusing it is, with all the label reading and constant information we are bombarded with. I got sick of it and decided to pay someone to help me out!

don't worry about CALORIES,it's the CARBS that kill you.

ok,here we go..carbs give you the energy you need,so no cutting back, mabey a little, but not a whole lot.

if you eat more carbs than you burn you will gain weight

if you burn the same amount of carbs you eat, your weight will stay the same.

if you burn more carbs than you eat you will lose weight

see,if carbs give you energy, then you need to burn it to lose your weight, doesn't that make sense

hope this helps

P.S.this came from my niece's middle school textbook
