I guess that'd depend on one's concept of evil, which is pretty damn subjective... Some would say that anything that causes suffering is evil, while others would say only malicious acts are... But really, malicious acts are pretty damn rare, what more usually gets counted as evil, is greed, and the entire animal kingdom (and some non-animal life) is capable of something at least very similar to greed, it's thing that allows competition in an ecosystem to work....

I think only humans are capable of evil intentions. No one would ever accuse a bear of being evil for killing a human, because a bear has no ability to think, so it can't be guilty of evil intent.

We are the only creatures (as far as we know, there's been some interesting research on apes lately) who have the capacity for both good and evil.
A dog, for example, has enough brain to eat, drink, get rid of that food and water, sleep, and mate.
As far as I know humans are the only animals who just go out and kill each other for the hell of it.

"evil" is a human concept that probably came from our rational and social nature.
