My friend is Canadian...he's not stuck up. It is not wise to throw everyone in the same boat when suffering from one incident. You just happened to come into contact with a few individuals that don't have any manners...that doesn't make the whole country stuck up and rude. Just like how not all Americans are dumb and lazy. Try not to go with the flow.

Not ALL Canadians are stuck ups! As a Canadian I am insulted you would consider a whole country the same way just because of what a few others said,in fact alot of other countries view Canada as one of the most polite country's in the world. There are always a few stuck ups in every country, but does that mean the entire country is bad?!
God Bless the VA tech victims, as well as their families.

I hate to tell you this but with a name like gwbush_is_awesome, did you really think people would take your questions seriously? Also, when you post a question, how you phrase it can certainly lead to some rude responses. For example, a question about gun control can be "Why is it possible for a person to walk into a gun shop and obtain a 9mm pistol so easily?" instead of "Why do Americans let foreigners have guns?" The first question advocates reasonable debate on a controversial subject, the second one reeks of anti-americanism and anti-immigrant.
So when you ask biffnasty-style questions, you get nasty answers... Are you sure some of those "Canook" answers were not anti-Bush Americans pretending to be Canadian? lol

Because some people come onto the internet and they think because no one knows who they really are they can be as rude and as mean as they please. Not all Canadians do this, nor is everyone who does this a Canadian. Most Canadians are not like this, and I, as a Canadian, am generally embarrassed by the ones that are.
I would like to point out that I have seen a fair number of Americans who are just as rude, and I have actually felt a little hurt from reading some of the things I have seen Amercians post on this website.
Yes some Canadians on this site are very rude to Americans and it is generally completely unjustified, but please don't judge a whole country on a couple of unfortunate lowlifes who are probably just looking for attention.

Well, finally I meet "the ugly American" How are you?Feeling good in your nonsense and genuine ignorance eh?Brother, with you as a neighbor, I can only worry and wonder. How ignorant is ignorant?
All the decent world was shocked at the tragedy at VT, the reasons etc. do not seem important right now, just the loss of loved ones by families makes this a time of mourning, nothing more. And by the way, one of the professors killed was a Canadian.I would say that makes us involved sadly.
Thank God prejudiced people like you are few in number or else we would all be in trouble.

Because minority dolts like you who like to Politicize such a grave and senseless tragedy as the VA Tech shooting to score cheap shots at Canadians or Democrats and post narrow minded judgements on others, deserve to be put in your place by anyone. You just chose to place your stupid rant on the Canada topic board.
Such tragedy's touch caring people around the world and my prayers are with all the families.

You asked the question "Why can't Canadians mind their own business?" I think most would agree that that's not the most polite way to ask a question. Most of the world agrees that U.S. gun laws are way out of control, I don't know why you decided to center out Canada, because Australia is doing the same.
The 2nd amendment is old and needs to be reviewed. Most Canadians are quite nice, and you shouldn't generalize. That would be like me saying all Americans are dumb, stubborn, fat, and greedy...now that's not true for all Americans is it? No I dind't think so...please don't generalize.
And all I saw in your last question was alot of Americans apoliogizing for your ignorant and dumb question, Canadians making fun of you. You really are stupid.

You're generalizing. Not all Canadians are like that. In fact, the majority are friendly and helpful. And by the comments you made about the "nosy neighbor", your stereotype of Canadians is hardly better.

"Canadians stop with the rampant anti-Americanism. Its so illogical and unecessary,"
Hey Cool I said that lol - I got quoted!
Canadians aren't all stuck up. Nor are we all polite(As Canadians would like to think). You cannot generalize the personality of a country. Canadians get very defensive about anything an American says about us. You see, many Canadians are anti-American(bit of a generalization - yes), and will turn any question about politics into an America-bashing fest(its sickening, quite frankly). Canadians just like to feel morally and socially superior to Americans because we feel threatened by America. I, as one Canadian am SICK of the anti-Americanism. It is one thing to disagree with the government of a country, but these people hate the State/Country. And we need to stop it.
