Actually global warming has NOT been proven to be due to natural fluctuations; however it stands to reason that 6 billion people all burning fossil fuels everyday and producing nearly 7 billion tons of CO2 annually may actually be having an effect on the Earth's climate. Especially since the Earth has never had CO2 above 300 ppm in its atmosphere in the last 700,000 years and it is currently at 383 ppm. So where is all of this CO2 coming from if it isn't from human activity? 7 billion tons of CO2 is equivalent to the entire volume of atmosphere that exists above California. That means that if we replace the air above the state of California from the ground up to the edge of the atmosphere with CO2, that would be the equivalent of volume of CO2 gas that humans put into the atmosphere every year. Now, after the last 50 years, that's equivalent to about the entire volume of air that exists above the United States. That's a lot of CO2! Disperse that amount over the whole planet and I'd say that that's a significant contribution to the composition of the atmosphere. That doesn't even include the more heat trapping gases such as methane and nitrous oxide that have also been released. So, to believe that global warming is a natural cycle uninfluenced by humans is the same as believing that a fat man might actually fly in a sleigh to all of the little boys and girls of the world in 24 hours to give gifts of love or coal to those who are deemed nice or naughty respectively. So, good luck with that, moron.

there are quite some issues that would reason international warming, we human beings produce lots of those, e.g. imagine of what number of human beings use body deodorants daily, how manycontinual, what number throw cart board papers and plastic bags on the streets etc... this stuff are extremely straightforward and also you received't even imagine its causing international warming even if the actuality is via turning your light fixtures on you've in basic terms further a tiny guess extra of those carbon emission gases into the ambience. so we are causing it, the cycle you talk of is authentic yet warmth temperatures are increasing via a techniques swifter than it might. via the time the cycle adjustments decrease back to cooler temperates existence on the earth ought to possibly be a lot extra sturdy than it truly is now, international warming received't also be an situation yet searching water it truly is not any longer poisoned with carbon dioxide or acid rain. via then cooling the planet is often yet another challenge because we would then freeze because the layers on the better environment would have replaced too. god is acquainted with what different adjustments will come. its no longer our challenge authentic, yet our childrens could have struggle through a lot extra from this. forgods sake imagine about, out of each of the places we've explored in straightforward words one unmarried rock has the capacity to create existence, its about a length of a dot comparing to our image voltaic device and its the in straightforward words position the position existence can exist, if we free this international we wont take care of to discover yet another like it in a lengthy time period, we won't be able to even discover yet another in any respect. we've an fairly good historic previous the following and we dont favor to free it in basic terms because some coorporations dont favor to free funds. funds is only a paper that runs employer, earth keeps us alive. the reason politicians are in touch is because they're the long island ones which have power ti replace it, lowering carbom emissions require making an investment extremely some income new technologies and making positive that each and each one organizations use them. its a large situation, the in straightforward words human beings contained in the international that dont belive in it truly is US and China. they're the international maximum manufacturers of those gases too. so as that explains why they dont wnt to belive it.

All of Earth's heating and cooling cycles in the past? No. Every bit of Earth's problems today? Not likely.
The current global warming crisis? Most likely.
An explanation for those who won't look at data -- waste of breath. ... or keystrokes.

yes the earth has it's natural heat and cold cycles. We cannot conclusively rule out one or the other. I don't follow Al Gore at all. he's in it for the money! However, I wonder much our action or inaction is accelerating the heat cycle. This is all theory. A lot of what ifs on this subject.

It's hard to prove anything conclusively.. It seems that there is an overall warming in climate, but that it is being enhanced by man's activities. In the long run, the choice is simple, do nothing and accept the consequences, or so something, and hope that it will work. What's your choice?

The vast majority of the world's scientists think it's mostly caused by man.
http://www.sciencemag.org/cgi/content/full/306/5702/1686
That's because the scientific data says global warming is mostly caused by us.
http://www.globalwarmingart.com/wiki/Image:Climate_Change_Attribution.png
http://www.ipcc.ch/SPM2feb07.pdf
And also these people (who I don't think are ignoramuses):
"The science of global warming is clear. We know enough to act now. We must act now."
James Rogers, CEO of Charlotte-based Duke Energy.
“With overwhelming scientific evidence that global warming is adversely impacting the health of our planet, the time has come for the Congress to take action.”
Senator Olympia Snowe, Republican, Maine
"The overwhelming majority of atmospheric scientists around the world and our own National Academy of Sciences are in essential agreement on the facts of global warming and the significant contribution of human activity to that trend."
Russell E. Train, Republican, former environmental official under Presidents Nixon and Ford
"I agree with you (Gore) that the debate over climate change is over."
Rep. Dennis Hastert, Republican, Illinois
"Global warming is real, now, and it must be addressed."
Lee Scott, CEO, Wal-Mart
"Our nation has both an obligation and self-interest in facing head-on the serious environmental, economic and national security threat posed by global warming."
Senator John McCain, Republican, Arizona
"I'm trying to learn [about greenhouse gases and global warming]. The more I learn, the bigger believer I become."
Senator Lindsay Graham, Republican, South Carolina
“DuPont believes that action is warranted, not further debate."
Charles O. Holliday, Jr., CEO, DuPont
"These technologies will help us become better stewards of the environment - and they will help us to confront the serious challenge of global climate change."
President George Bush
And, most recently these ex-military leaders, including an astronaut who used to head NASA:

There's a lot less controversy about this is the real world than there is on Yahoo answers:
http://www.worldpublicopinion.org/pipa/articles/home_page/329.php?nid=&id=&pnt=329&lb=hmpg1
So there are a great many people who really think so.

there is a lot of evidence of man made climate change .and there are many reasons to hide the truth
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AvbPszHYauML8xhmbAeIgFPty6IX?qid=20070417100407AA4m7Wl&show=7#profile-info-aj5Hhpdcaa
scientists who work for politicians ,get paid by these politicians and they have downplayed the facts because solutions are expensive and means change and change effects many peoples incomes, and upsets profit margins,so most of the world is kept in the dark of the real things that are going on.for political and economic reasons
Global warming is a very complex collection of many effects
this text only covers some aspects of global warming ,mainly agriculture i.e.effects of deforestation and subsequent man made desertification
water and air polution such as caused by
industrial contamination ,the contaminating effects of the cities(the internal combustion engine) ,are other stories,
and all of these are also man made ,such as the high industrial chimneys pumping contamination into the clouds and the burning of tires, some of this polution has been found in the ice in the polar regions
there are natural cycles in the planets life
but a lot is influenced by mans existance ,and this is increasing with overpopulation, putting strains on Natural resources and increasing contaminations as well as destructions of essential componants the ensure living conditions for all life forms
climate change is caused in great parts by desertification ,and most desertification is caused by man
the thinner ozone layer helps to speed this up.and this is caused mainly by air polution ,also as a result of mans actions
DEFORESTATION
in the past
the Building of the Spanish Armada deforrested Spain
the Phoenician trading fleet turned Lebanon in a dessert
Ganges Khan put everything to the sword and torch, then filled the wells with sand,
the sun finished of the job and whole countries turned to wastelands.
Today ,
Slash and burn destroys the protective vegetation (which helps to form the soil ),
leaving it open to the Sun ,and then ,wind and, water erosion.
The Plough turns the soil ,killing micro-biotic life (essential to soil building) and accelerates the drying out .
Pressures of the :vehicles, cattle and rain impact brings the salt to the surface.
Mono cultures ,aided by chemicals Exhaust and pollutes the soil .
Adding to this the effects of overgrazing has resulted in large scale desertification.
and there is less and less water (because of deforestation),to irrigate this production ,Farmers
are overpumping deep carbon aquifiers
and plowing more and more unstable lands going into the jungles and onto mountain slopes
expanding populations and expanding farming ,that has to keep pace with the expanding populations are very strong forces that encroach upon the rainforest's
clearing them for farming and settlement areas .
Rainforest's always are in third world countries and always in third world countries corruption and the need for money s highest
in North Africa,India,Mexico ,millions of people are effected by land loss and desertification and some have died as a result
,the Sahara is growing by 7 kilometers a year
and most of the desserts we know are a results of mans actions ,and they are increasing ,not getting less ,in the dinosaurs days ,there were no desserts.
collectively this planet is drying up ,
each degree rise in temperature means 10%crop loss
and there is less and less water (because of deforestation),to irrigate this production ,
and there are less and less farmers to do it..
Arable lands and their farms are lost all over the globe. Many farmers sons abandon farming and head for the cities.
Northern China is drying up, what once were millions of food producing people, are now hungry refugees ,running for their lives from the all consuming dust storms.
This will have a great effect on world food prices when they start buying at what ever cost, to feed their people.
The farmers that are left have to feed some 70 million more people than the year before but with less topsoil.
Over the last half century,
Population growth & rising incomes have tripled world grain demand from 640 million tons to 1,855 million
In the near future the global farming community will not be able to feed every body ,food prices will continue to rise. .
RISING SEAS
The northpole is melting ,and we will know it without ice in our life times.
this does not affect the sea level because it is ice that is already in the water.but the melting ice from Green land and the south pole ,are another matter
Global warming could be slowed down to some extent, but it will mean global co operation between all countries ,and taking into account human nature and the world politics ,it is unlikely that this will happen,
At least not untill we are all in the middle of planetary disastres and it becomes a battle for the survival of humanity every where, instead of just some third world countries Source(s) here are a 100 ways to help
