Prophets were spokesmen for God through whom divine will and purpose are made known. They stood in God's intimate group and he revealed His confidential matters to them. Although they were not considered knowers of the future God did convey messages that were directly or indirectly related to the future. They were proclaimers of a divine source.
Hence no prophets were minor prophets because every prophecy they delivered was important to God at that time.
