Question

if i say something, i really mean it..
and i told this guy to stop calling me on my phone, i told him that i really dont like him and i mean it... he still heeps on calling me so i came to him at school and punched him in the face, i think he felt bad but he stopped bothering me after...

question... did i solve my problem right.. or wrong??
what should i do?

No, it's OK to ask, that's what this site is about. You handled the situation in a manner that was a bit unconventional; although, if this had happened between two guys nobody would have said a word. Don't let rude folks like Y!bully get to you. Unfortunately, some people don't take this site seriously. In any case, I would walk up to him (as by now he probably knows you mean business) and tell him why you did it. It wouldn't hurt to apologize for the violence but make sure he underdstands that you would not play his kind of games and though you handled it wrong and were sorry, you would always stand up for yourself. He could have been a potential stalker and this may have even aroused him more than you are aware of, so when you talk to him, make sure you are not alone. Be careful. but try to apologize nonetheless. Words travels fast, especially around schools and I doubt that you will get any more harrassing calls from anyone. Either way, be aware of your surroundings and try to not walk by yourself until emotions around there settle down a bit. Take good care of yourself and learn from your mistakes, but don't beat yourself up over one wrong decision either. We all make them sooner or later, at least you know it could have been handled differently and asked for help. Stay strong and hang in there. Again, don't let ignorant people get to you. We are all here for a reason and if some use this as a way to let out their frustrations, then they are the ones with the problem. MsB.

It wasn't the best thing you couldv'e done, but you did a good job, anyway. I wouldv'e done the same thing. He'll more'n likely not bother you again. Plus, he was in the wrong. He was technicaly stalking you=) By the way, DON'T APOLOGISE TO HIM! He'll come after you again. Don't bother calling the pigs, unless he starts up again.

Hitting is never okay. Didn't they teach you that in preschool? That was the wrong way to handle the situation, but it's done. Just don't do it that way again. Take legal action instead :)

i don't think that using violence is a good way of solving any problem.
think about if we all puched people when they did something we didn't like..what kind of world will this be??
you should apologise & just tell him that you really meant it when u asked him to stop calling you.

be honest is usually the best policy, but when you are and you hurt someone's feelings that is not the way to go. always be tactful and respect others. punching is never good!

peace is key. try working things out in a peaceful mannner. hitting him was definetly un necessary. you solved it ina very wrong way.
