Drink a lot of water during the day and maybe a glass of milk before bed. Also, avoid too many spicy foods or sodas, which can make it worse. It'll ease the symptoms, at least. But i think acid reflux is a disease that can only really be cured by prescription medication, so to get rid of it for good, you (and I) may need to see a doctor. But these things do make it much easier to live with.

Make yourself some licorice or chamomile tea and drink it 2 - 3 times daily. Also, coral calcium is a very effective treatment for acid reflux. Apple cider vinegar is also recommended by some.

Recently one of my co-workers was having a terrible time with her reflux. A friend of hers told her to take a little bit of Apple Cider Vinegar and the pain completely disappeared. From my understanding, vinegar neutralizes acid.

My Mom had this. She was cured of it, by a complete natural remedy. You should read the book "Natural Cures" by Kevin Trudeau. And try not to listen to people tell you he's wrong, or that can't be right. You'd be surprised.

milk (although this will only work if it's a mild case). Ginger ale works for some. Try drinking LOTS of water. Sit up straight.
