Synaboo, you are going to stay away from high carbs like junk foods. You need to get exercise like walking the dog every day. If you don't have a dog then simply start off your exercises with walking. You are going to be OK, you are young. But no one likes to be over weight.
I want you to know, it's dangerous to try to lose weight too fast. It's actually worst for you.

firstly if you excercise at least three times a week, that usually helps. when I exercise I make sure that I break a sweat, and I mean a LOT of sweat; it's because you can excrete fat with your sweat. I also make sure that when I exercise I go for more than an hour, because that's when you start burning the body fat. Get a membership at a local rec. center, they'll have a race track and weights among other wonderful things.
as for diet; when I wanted to lose wieght I made sure that I only ate until I felt about 80% full, which is not full enough to feel it. I ate a lot of little healthy snacks throughout the day, no real meals. The frequent snacks help speed up the metabolism. Don't make yourelf go hungry. going without food will only slow down your metabolism.
and lastly try drink a lot of water, you'd be surprized at how well that cleans a person's insides out.

At thirteen you are old enough to take charge of what you eat. look up low carb on your computer. There are TONS of really good foods out there that you can eat until you are full and get the energy to feel like walking or swimming. Stay away from sugar soda and bread and potatoes. Healthy fat like in cheese will help you feel full. Low carb is a lot of veggies and meat but there are some good breads and stuff if you hunt for them. If I can help E me at oddmom3@yahoo.com
You can do this, it isn't really hard, it's just a little different and a lot easier than low calorie or low fat.

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
dont try to lose more than 1-2lbs a week - its not healthy to lose more.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried - no junk food.

You cant loose 50lbs in 3 months. First of all its unhealthy, and second of all its nearly impossible. You need to set realistic goals for yourself. Like 25lbs is definetly more realistic. Looking "fly" isnt what its about, its about being healthy. Diet, make sure you eat breakfast, have yogurt for snacks (lowfat) and lots of fruits and veggies. Exercise, swim, walk, jog, and just get out.

The best advice that I am able to give is to speak to your school counselor and have them hook you up with a noutritionist.
