Yes. That is what happens to anorexics. After your body has burned off all the fat, it moves on to muscle tissue. Your body continues to be burning calories even when you have very lil to burn. You shut down--have far less energy and eventually will start to shut down your organs.

yes absoutly

if you are doing this to lose weight then this is probaly the last thing you want to do. while you will lose weight you will also lose a cosiderable amount of muscle as well. you are most likely not getting an inadeguate supply of protein and if you dont get enough in you diet your body will turn to the stored supplys in your muscles and then your muscles will degrade and you will acuatly appear flabbier and fatter then you did when you started. this is not the way to get skinyer. remember the recomend daily calories is 2,000 and if you do this and exercise you will lose weight and get skinier.

also if you keep this trend up in a day or two you will notice that you are constantly tired and this is will be due to the lack of food that your body is recieving

will what eat your muscle tissue? the muscle eating goblin?

i gather you mean, "will a 1000 calorie daily deficit cause you to lose muscle mass?" learn how to write in proper English, idiot.

the answer is probably not in the short term, but over a longer period of time, say >1 month, probably, but why don't you try, and let us know how it turns out.
