About a week or so ago, I answered a question and I phrased it wrong. I mentioned that vertigo and Meniere's were the same thing. What I actually meant to say is that they are similar to each other...NOT the same thing. That was my mistake. Sometimes, my fingers get ahead of my brain. I apologize.

After working a 24 hour shift when I got my a** handed to me, my mind is sometimes not all here. I'm exhausted but still wired on adrenaline and I come onto Yahoo Answers to wind down.

Yes, I am a REAL medical professional. I am an emergency medical technician.

I suppose it would help if I proofread what I write.

It was me who wrote the comment.
I got upset as I have personally suffered from the condition for more than 13 years.
It frustrates me when people dismiss Meneire's as 'feeling a bit dizzy' and such when it is so much more and so, so, so much worse.
I except your error and appology if that means anything coming from me, the complainee.
Most of the time my brain is mush and I can't speak, spell or type. Especially after a fast, paced intense shift.
Cheers.
