I am not at all saying that i agree that what that maniac did at VT was right either .I just think that We need to look more closley at the person and not the weapon.because alot of people are stabbed to death and there are no restrictions on knives.

those guns were only tools,the sick individual with them killed all those people. now if the other students were armed how many people do you think would have been killed? a whole lot less ill bet

We just witnessed a good example of gun control. Apparently none of the victims were armed. They were obeying the gun control regulation prohibiting them from carrying a weapon, even if they were properly licensed. You see the tragic results.

Gun control makes victims out of the law abiding.

If someone wants to kill people bad enough, no law will prevent them from doing so.
Example: Japan has very tough gun laws and one of their mayors was just killed by a gunman. If someone is determined to do harm, they will most likely find a way.
