bench pressing is not cardio activity cardio is running, exercising. Cardio is pretty much an event that makes your whole body be in motion. Bench pressing is weight lifting. Two different things, weight lifting and cardio. In a good workout routine to lose weight and get healthy, it is good to do cardio activity for at least 30-60 mins 3-5 times a week, and weight lifting for 20-40 minutes 2-4 days a week. If you want to lose weight in ur face, you can not target that area, it will decrease in size as you lose weight.

No, I'm a powerlifter. No anerobic (resistance) training will make you lose weight. And no, it is not cardio. Cardio is defined as work at a sub-maximal rate of effort for long periods 20-60 minutes.

No offense, if you have to lose flab, the only way to do it is to put down the weights and hit the treadmill for a minimum of 25 minutes each session.

There's no way to control what part will lose weight first.
