Almost anything can be flown in and out of KBWI, because they have two long runways. One is 10500 feet and the other is over 9500 feet. They also have Instrument approaches to these runways. We've had a 747 and 777 here in Cleveland and our longest runway is only 9000 feet. Most of the aircraft choices will be driven by the needs of the airlines operating out of that airport.

Yes, they have all kinds of aircraft coming in there. Anything from turboprops to widebodies. I fly the CRJ in there all the time and it seems to be a very easy airport to get around in. At least from my point of view. All of the majors fly out of there and Southwest has a huge operation based there. Not sure about Jetblue though.

I believe that mostly Continental 757 or 767s but i once saw a airbus 340 or 380 passing by. It was pretty intense. Although we dont live too far away, i know that JetBlue flies close to where baltamore is because Washington McDules airport is there!

There are all types... Southwest has a descent sized operation there... and of course all the majors serve BWI... I would say anything from CRJ to 757... maybe bigger on rare occasions...

Go to the BWI website, where you can look up departures. It'll show what aircraft each departure is using.
