Another thing, I try to think that my chances of something happening are slim but yet so do many other people but it happened to them, so that scares me too.

You are afraid because you are not prepared for eternity. We all desire to go to heaven if we die and there is only one way to get there. "Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life." No one can get to heaven any other way but through belief in the Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 10:9 says, If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. God loved you so much that he sent his only begotten Son into the world to die on a cruel cross for the sins you have committed. The Word of God says that we all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. We need to put our faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ and accept His free offer of salvation. Read and believe John 3:16, Acts 16:31, Romans 10:9, and John 14:6. The blood that Jesus shed on Calvary's cross washes all of our sins away forever and makes us ready to face eternity in heaven rather than having to perish (pass eternally ruined into sinner's hell). Please accept the only solution to fear of dying. I'll pray for you!

Well. Whenever I see a movie that scares me, I try to find out everything I can about how the movie was made. If you have the DVD, watch all of the extra features, the making of, and all that stuff. It can make it seem less real.

When I was 10, I watched the movie IT, and I didn't sleep for weeks. It only got better when I found out that Tim Curry plays the clown, and I watched another movie (a comedy) that Tim Curry starred in; "Rocky Horror Picture Show" (not a horror)

Dear, I know this is gonna sound QUITE funny but I am 25 and that freakin movie scared the crap outta me.. I was going through some pretty traumatic times of my own at the time it came out * my mother had just passed away* and I swear I was so afraid of being possessed I wouldn't sleep I just prayed and prayed and prayed.. the best thing that can ever cure it is just try to block it out of your mind and forget about it I know thats hard.. but now I can honestly say I have seen it even own the dvd now and it isn't as bad as I previously thought...so just take your time..pray if you believe in God and it will all work out for you! These movies are made to do just this.. and once I realized that I had to come to terms and be like ok, get a grip...Good Luck!

XOXO

Your old enough to know that a movie is a movie. So maybe you have some underlying anxiety disorder. Tell your parents how you feel and see how they respond. Or go buy some tylenol PM for the sleep problem and just tough it out until the vividness of the movie fades. From now on realize that your a little bit of a wuss and shouldnt watch scary movies. :) just joking.

First thing, don't watch garbage like that. Why do that to yourself?

Second, that isn't everyday reality for the vast majority of people in the world.

Third, focus on the positive things in life and move on from the negative. Remember, death is a part of life and it is our duty to live a good life. We learn from life and death, both are necessary.

You are young and have a long life ahead of you. I suggest you begin to center your life on the best things for your future success. Get involved with your friends and classmates in volunteer activities helping others less fortunate. Plan your academic future, find out what your passion is, what you'd like to do when you graduate from college. Be someone who solves problems and leaves a legacy of good.

the important thing is not to think in something else, because this whole thing still scares you. The important thing is not to be afraid of that any more. To realize that it's a movie, is very important. But about devil and death, they exist and they are part of our everyday life. death is a reality, part of ours lives and it is not the end of everything, it's just the end of everyones mision on this world. The devil, is in every decision we make, taking us by the easy and fake way. can you make a correct decision?? well, you beat him every time you do it.

I do understand that you have fears, but I suggest you take life a little less seriously. The chances of something bad happening to you is very small. Try to avoid reading this kind of stuff and don't watch the wicked movies.

Watch something like Scary Movie 3 or 4. It will make you laugh about some of the scarier parts in horror movies. I used to have that problem and this was how I got over it.

Try to remember that it was just a movie. And talk to your parents about it. Believe it or not they really do know stuff and they can help ease your mind.
