find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
dont try to lose more than 1-2lbs a week - its not healthy to lose more.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried - no junk food.

Hi
I specialize in helping people lose weight quickly and healthily and i myself lost 15kg within 2 months via a detox.
I have also helped people lose a total of 500kg in the past few years via detox.
Just how much weight do you want to lose and how fast do you want to lose it?
The easiest and FASTEST way I know is to detox.
A detox is healthy because it brings balance back to your body and losing weight is just a by product of the detox. So at the end of the detox, you will find yourself get more energetic, healthier, more radiant looking as well.
And the detox is simple. All you need to do is three things.
Number one, follow the detox programme which requires you to change your diet a little bit. Eg, take more vege and less meat and seafoods.
Number two, use 1 minute a day to take some natural health foods that I take to enhance the speed and the effect of the detox.
Number three, drink lots of water to flush the toxins out..
And that's it.
The rest is up to you.
So what do you think? ;)
If you are keen to find out more about my detox programme, you can email me at verityy@yahoo.com.

I'm 21 and 3 years ago I decided to give up soda, tea, coffee, etc and just drink water. I still ate whatever I wanted and rarely excercised and yet within a few months I had lost 30 lbs. 3 years later I still eat whatever I want and have not gained the weight back.

If you are moderately active you will need 10 calories per pound of your current weight to maintain your weight. If you increase your activity level you will lose. If you cut your calories you will lose even more. Remember 3500 calories= one pound of weight. Cut 3500 calories and you have lost a pound.

there's really alot you can do. it depends on your lifestyle and diet. like me for example, i switched from coke to diet coke and ate about half my usual amount of food and in about a month i've lost 15 pounds.

try to have a little lean protein with each meal as protein tends to be more satisfying than carbs or fats
