I was wondering if anyone out there understood all the things about divorce associated with child support. I have 3 kids of which my x has custody- I told my lawyer I didnt want to see the kids at all- do I still have to pay child support if I no longer recognize them as mine? Is there a way to legally disown your children-Im not real sure they are mine at this point.

Sounds like you are 110% scum bag. You say you don't even know if they are your!. You know damn well that they are yours, there was never any question until you started fooling around. If you want to give parental rights you have to go through the court system, it doesn't matter if you say you don't recognize them or not.

Those three kids are yours and they will always be that way. Even if you can get a court to agree with you to give up all rights, that does not make them any less your kids.
You are the type of guy that give deadbeat dads a really bad rep. You are lower than scum. If you didn't want them why did you have unprotected sex.

well, you seem like a real jackass. I feel sorry for those kids in the long run. Who care about a couple of fricking dollars here and there, those kids need a dad. If you are not sure if they are your then go get a test done to find out them own your butt up and take care of YOUR responsibilities. She didn't have those kids herself, you helped out, you need to be there for the kids, forget your X, your kids need you.

I am going through something similar with my X not wanting to see his kids, that is bullshit. My kids cry all the time wanting to see him but he don't care. He says he is going to show up and never does, no phone call or nothing. I have to deal with my kids heartbreak from him all the time. I SEE how it affects the kids and you do not need to do that to those kids, they deserve better then that.

I hope you grow up and do the right thing by those kids. I don't mean to be rude but I am thinking about the kids here, not the money coming out of your pocket.

Wow, you sound heartless! You still need to pay child support, even if you don't recognize them as yours. You should take a paternity test if you think you're not the father. . I pray to God they're NOT! And to go as far as disowning them?? How sad!

OMG!!!!!! Why would you not want to see your kids? If you have been their only Dad, then they are YOURS!! Have you even thought what this will do to them? I am sorry I do not mean to judge, it just breaks my heart. Anyway, if you chose to do this then you have to go to court and terminate your parental rights. I hope you reconsider, but either way, Good Luck to you!

NUMBER ONE GET A DNA TEST DONE IF YOU AREN'T SURE. NUMBER 2 DON'T TURN YOUR BACK ON THOSE KIDS IF THEY ARE YOURS.
