That's an alright time, it means the kittens are growing strong..just make sure they don't get matted eyes, if they do you have to get antibiotics from the vet for them.

Each kitten develop and do things a different stages. I had a litter of six who's eyes were open at 5 days and were walking around at the end if two weeks. They will soon be 9 months old and are all strong healthy kitten. Good Luck with your new family and enjoy them, they grow up so fast.

My cat just had a kitten and she opened her eyes on the fifth day so anywhere from 5-7 days according to the vet I go to is normal. Hope this helps

kittens usually open their eyes at 6-10 days and start getting teeth at 12-16 days old

six days is soon but i wouldn't worry . Kittens open their eyes when they are ready. You will notice their eyes are probably a misty blue as if they are drugged up or blind but that is normal too. Congradulations and good luck with your kittens!

No my uncles cat literally just had cats and one of them already has one eye open...they may just be developinga little bit earlier....its nothing to really worry about.

not if they did it on their own.....last time I looked animals didn't have a schedule...(no watches to look at...) I'd say it means Mom is a good mother and the kittens are healthy...
