if I have a sinus infection that is settling a bit in my chest? I am on antibiotics and Durahist D, but I am coughing a bit. If so, is there anything else that I can do to dry it all up?

From a former gall bladder and constant sinusitis sufferer, talk to your doctor. Don't continue using more than one medication at a time because the medicines could actually counteract and be completely ineffective.

I had a bit of a sinus infection when I had my surgery. Use a saline nose spray. The saline will help kill the germs causing the infection and open your nasal passages. My son's nurse even "snorts" warm salt water and spits it out to clear up sinus problems quickly.

The last thing you want is to suffer from a sinus infection on top of healing from surgery.

well that is your call if you don't want your surgery. If your that sick and you go to the hospital to get ready for your surgery and the nurse realizes that your pretty sick she would call your doctor that is doing your surgery and he would make the decision if he wanted to go through with it or not. Even your anesthesiologist would have a say in that too.
Gallbladder surgery is serious. IF you don't have it done you might be going through alot of pain of putting it off. Good luck and I hope you feel better.

there should not be any problem with the surgery, respiratory infection should not complicate a surgery in ur gall bladder, however, this may mean your immune system is compromise atm, and means that you may feel a bit worse than you should have if you are healthy. but any doubt ask you surgeon, not too mcuh of a worry

Your surgeon should be made aware that you have an infection. He or she may think it is wise to post-pone your surgery until your infection is cleared up. Good luck.

check with your doctor.

I had my gallblader removed a year and a half ago and I'm so glad I did. The pain was getting to be way too intense.

So if you can continue on and not postpone it that will be in your favour

but if your antibiotics will interact with your surgery, then that will be dangerous.

AMAZING GREAT QUESTION
(im being sincere)

my dads an anesthesiologist and he always tells me NEVER have surgery if you are sick with an infection. You could die on the operating table.

Always tell your doctor if you are on any meds. Over the counter or not. Also tell them of any health issues that have changed or that you may have forgotten about. Any of them could be very important.

You need to talk to the doctor who is planning to do your surgery, most doctors will not do surgery on someone if they think there might be complications.

do not waste you time with this quackery. Apple juice (like something imbibed) receives damaged down and not in any respect reaches the liver or gall bladder finished. it truly is a collection of nonsense.
