for the most part the greater the body fat percentage the more muscle mass will be lost when the body is in an extended period of starvation. your friend will be much fatter after 54 days , decreased the resting metabolic rate even further and the potential of increased fat gains are several times higher once normal eating habits are resumed.

starving the body has never worked for fat loss and it never will..starving the body is the exact opposite of what is needed for the body to release stored fats for use as energy

you could no longer "bypass anorexic" for a limited era...that's a ailment, no longer a nutrition plan approach. And anorexia does no longer contain vomiting...the past answerer is thinking of bulimia. On precise of that, whether you stopped eating altogether for that finished time, that's impossible to assert how lots weight you could lose, thinking we haven't any way of understanding what share energy you would be burning throughout that element, how lots you presently weigh, etc.

anorexia is a disease. tell your friend that if she plans on going anorexic for 54 days, she will end up being anorexic for a lot longer than that, and it could kill her.

Tell your friend, this is a dangerous idea. Tell your friend's parents if you know them what her plans are. You might just save her life. This doesn't make you a bad friend if you relate what she is considering, it makes you a great friend. Action must be taken, someone (an adult must intervene if your friend is considering this seriously.
