I just bought a Sony Cybershot T100 and haven't been able to take one crystal clear picture. Every shot comes out fine on the LCD screen, but if I zoom in or open it on the computer you can see it's all grainy.

I want crystal clear images, is that even possible with this camera? I tried playing with the settings but nothing works. I paid $400 for it and will be very disappointed if this is the best the camera offers.

I read MANY positive reviews before purchasing this specific camera, none mentioned this problem.

I am not familiar with this specific camera, but have a few suggestions.

First, check the settings, are you using it on auto, and on auto, does it set the ISO itself?

Read through the manual that came with the camera, and learn about the settings. Try taking pictures on ISO of 100 or 200, and see how they turn out.

Try using the camera on some of the program settings, like portrait, or landscape. Experiment with these settings, and again, thoroughly read through the manual to learn how to use it.

I had a similar experience with another camera, and discovered taking it off auto, and manually adjusting ISO made a world of difference. A camera computer chip just can't compete with a human brain, lol.
