Just keep your W2's along with your copy of your tax filed for 2006.

File the W-2's with a hard copy of the return and maintain it for the next 7 yrs.

Despose of it after you file your taxes in 2015.

No, just file them with a paper copy of your return in your records. In the early days of electronic filing you had to print a form and attach your W2's to it, but not for the last several years.

Print a copy of your return and put it and your W-2s in your files for 7 years. If you had to send copies the software would have told you that and printed out the necessary transmittal form.

Buy a filing cabinet and put them where you can find them if ever asked. I think you need to hold on to them for 7 years if I am not mistaken.
