i think there are aspects of quantum physics that would disagree with that aspect. you should watch, "what the bleep do we know" and it's follow up "down the rabbit hole." it's based on science, i promise you, but that there is much more than we once thought possible. for example: that thought forms are more potent and real than we previously gave them credit for.

I am pagan, and follow an eclectic belief system based in many earth based traditions. I respect your atheism, however, if it is science based you may want to read a little farther before making your final judgement on the possibility of an afterlife. yes, i will agree that heaven and hell are a myth, but beyond that we would differ.

energy can neither be created nor destroyed. it has always existed and will always exist. we are energy and energy is eternal. yes, we probably did evolve from simpler life forms...still, this leads to the possibility of genetic memory and the possibiltiy of ancient knowledge.

christianity= the opiate of the masses. christianity= work hard now, toil hard now, suffer now, reap rewards in heaven.

People like you accuse those of us with a religious belief of not having a brain to think for ourselves, now I say the same thing about you.

Your argument is over-done. I hear it on this forum several times a day. "Religion is opiate for the masses" has been used so often it has absolutely no meaning whatsoever.

Get an argument, then come back.
