BUY MORE GUNS ...BRILLIANT

2007-04-17 13:15:23 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 2 1

you had more massacres throughout your history and your sad gun right hasnt been threatened at all, why should be different this time??? because there were 33 people killed??? i am completely sure most of you prefer the right of having a gun to the lives of 33 (or even 50 ) people...
I am glad i live in a country where owning a gun is not legal and where people would do something if 33 young people were massacred.

God did not give you gun rights. Your American fathers did. That is far from being the same. And what has a Christian or any religious affiliated person have to do in relating same to guns?Brother, are you out of it.

Try suggesting that they make a law that EVERYONE over the age of 18 has to, by law, carry a gun. THEN see how many random shootings there are. There's more likely to be less of the cowardly b**tards shooting innocent people if they know they have some real competition. (This goes for drive-by shootings, robberies, etc., not just psycho shooters like the VT guy.)

"God given gun rights"???

Since when are rights about guns, "God given"??? I can pretty much say there is NOTHING in the bible saying that people should carry guns.

The right to "bear arms" is I believe in the US Constitution (or another law).. but that is far from saying it's "God given".. LOL. Every country has different rights for guns.

(Now, there are those that may believe that the US Gov't is God.. but they're sadly mistaken.. :) heh).

Hopefully people realize that whether or not guns are legal, if someone wants to kill people they will find a way. Even if guns are illegal, they will still find a way to get them. If they make guns illegal for those of us who are law abiding citizens, they just take away our rights to protect ourselves. They won't stop people from illegally getting guns and wrecking havoc.

God given gun rights?

At what point in the Bible does it say "And yea, Yahweh spoke, and he said "And all Americans shall carry firearms, for their fear of each other and the world around them may only be placated if they have the holy ability to blow each other's brains out"?

Perhaps you wouldn't have massacres in the first place if you weren't so obsessed with owning and using deadly weapons.

I'd like to know how you arrived at that notion: God given gun rights?

I dont belive in gun rights anymore, I can see how they were necessary in the time when the Constitution and Bill of Rights was written, but now, i dont think any civilians, anywhere in the world should be allowed to have guns, it just leads to murder

If you think that being a Christian gives you the right to carry weapons such as guns, then you are sadly mistaken.
