Because I only have one right now, but I think I might get more *I'm a 13 year old male* and want to try to get rid of it/them. Is there any houshold items that would work?

No. Get your parents to take you to the drug store and buy some acne medication. It's not expensive. Around $4.99 a tube/jar. They make medicated pads to clean your face, special acne face washes and medicated creams. Try a product with Benzoyl Peroxide. That works best on teenage skin. Don't use too much---using more than directed will NOT make it go away faster. It will make it worse and your face will turn red and peel. Only use as directed on the label.

****And NEVER pick, pop, poke or squeeze your pimples. They are full of bacteria and popping, squeezing will make you break out MORE, it will make the pimple much worse and it will leave permanent scars on your face.

Someone some time ago suggested dabbing toothpaste on pimples, pointing out that it is formulated to kill microbes in the mouth. And it does really seem to work: I have a problem with oily skin, but the toothpaste dried out the acne after I applied it just about an hour at most.

Good luck!

Plain old soap and water work just fine. Keep your face clean and keep your hands away from them. Resist the urge to squeeze, prod and pop them- you will only injure the surrounding skin and spread the bacteria to make more. If you have a spot that is making a whitehead, apply a hot washrag to it, hot as you can stand as often as you can. It will head up and drain all on its own without help from you, and will heal faster afterwards. If you squeeze a zit before it's ready to drain, you can rupture it under the skin and make it even bigger and more painful. If you squeeze it and don't get it all out, you have damaged the surrounding skin and it will get worse as well. It will also take longer to heal. If you have witch hazel at home, you can use a cotton ball to wipe your face down a few times per day after you wash with soap and water. Otherwise, you might simply ask your mom to get you some of the acne gel at the supermarket, and if your face is really oily, you can use the various skin pads to wipe it down. A nice steamy shower also helps open pores and encourages zits to drain and pores to clean themselves. Take this matter up with your mom to get the things you need to help- it's not news to her that you are growing up and she will know what to do to help you more.

Actually Toothpaste makes the pimple worst. Get an asprin (make sure its an asprin) and crush it up, add enough water to it to make it a paste. Your pimple will go down and away!!

I would boil a pot of water and put my face above it to let the steam open your pores. If you don't want to have to do all that work, you could also get a hot towel and leave it on your face. It'll make your pimples smaller and less inflamed. :D

Dont put anything on your skin that wasnt made to be put on it, If you use the wrong stuff you could burn and scar your face. Also some things can be absobed through the skin poising you. Go to the doctor and get something prescritption.

Fingernails work well. Place the pimple between the two and squeeze. POP, it's gone!
