I ask this because there are times that she's very nice to me and very affectionate. There are other times, however, when she's kind of a **tch. She HAS told me that she loves me, and she usually tells me AFTER I tell her at the end of our conversations. She's going through a lot right now, though. Her grandmother recently died, and her mother has been sick for the past 4 months. We're in university and we've been dating for 5 months. She expresses no interest in wanting to meet my family and rarely does she want to meet me. It's usually me making the effort to go and see her. Is this right? Is this enough to indicate whether she loves me or not? Should I just be understanding of her circumstances and suck it up?

Go to see her as frequently as you can. She isnt ignoring you. Of course she loves you. You need to be there for her. Tell her your sorry about her loss and mother, and that you know how hard it must be for her. Tell her that YOU love her and that you will always be there for her. Hope this helps.

First of all if you ever want a women to love you and be honest lose the B i t c h word from your vocabulary. It is the most disrespectful, degrading term you can use on any girl. i would give her some space and just support her right now as you said she is going through alot right now. Be smart and stop worrying about this you have only been dating 5 months and her Grams just passed. Have a heart and just be there for her when she needs a hug or someone to talk too.

Some people have a hard time showing affection, but I think she sounds like she's blowing you off. If you really love somebody, you'd be there in a heart beat! She maybe just saying it just to say it. Maybe talk to her and give her an easy way out if that's what she wants. If that's the case, move on, it's not worth being with someone that don't have the same feelings back towards you. Good luck!

I think that you're gf may simply be going through a lot at the moment. However, if this is or has been consistant for an extended period of time, maybe she's just lost interest in you. I was dating my bf throughout the whole of highschool, he wanted for us to get married, but I knew I was headed off in a completely different direction with different interests all together, and kind of grew apart from him. this may be like u and your gf, I dunno, maybe just give it some more time and just be there for her.
