Huh. I DARE you to ask this in the Biology section, you life-sciences-heathen.

I don't have time to explain the entire line of experiments and studies used to prove evolution is a fact, but if you ask the nice guys over in Biology, I'm sure they'll have the time on their hands to do so since it's pretty much all they do.

And for you people who keep dismissing evolution as a "just a theory".... you really don't know what a scientific theory is, do you?

In the Quran, Allah says in Surah 71, Verses 13-14, of which the following are 4 respected translations :

ABDULLAH YUSUF ALI: What is the matter with you, that ye place not your hope for kindness and long-suffering in God, seeing that it is He that has created you in diverse stages?

SHAKIR: What is the matter with you that you fear not the greatness of Allah? And indeed He has created you through various grades.

SARWAR What is the matter with you that you are not afraid of the greatness of God who has created you in several stages?

PALMER: What ails you that ye hope not for something serious from God, when He has created you by steps?

Diverse stages? Various grades? An obvious reference to the evolution of the species. And where did evolution on this planet begin? Where did life first appear, according to the findings of modern science? In the ocean. And wouldn’t you know it, the Koran says, “We made from water every living thing.” (Surah 21, Verse 30)

What more Proof you need than the Holy Quran? It is Allah's Word !

It has been proven, but since you asked this in the Religion & Spirituality section, when evolution is the foundation of modern biology, and since you used the word believe next to a scientific theory, I'm not going to prove it to you, because you wouldn't understand it.

Nothing in this world ever has or ever will evolve. There is no proof, of it. My guess is that if you believe in it, you have been watching too many evolution movies and not reading the Bible. The Bible was created by God, evolution videos are based on little plastic creatures scientist made because they are scared of God.

I've seen God working a lot lately actually, healings and such. But by technical science terms it's impossible to "prove" anything anyway, so that gets thrown out of the door. Even Laws, Newton's Laws of physics aren't technically "proven." There's just so much evidence for them, and no real evidence against them, that it's accepted as fact.

It is according to what you want. Do you want me to say that man evolved from apes? That is only a very tiny portion. Do you want me to say that animals adapt to their environments to survive? That is the biggest part of evolution. I believe in that part of the theory.
I believe it is a fact in that regard.
I also believe in the creation of man by God. I do not profess to know how, when or where he did it. But I do believe it.
I also believe that both theories simply support the other. To condemn one and support the other is very short sighted.
I say this as my own opinion. I do not insult nor, hope, I do not get insulted.

Evolution cannot be proven or disprove, because we cannot witness it, since the theory of evolution states that it happens over millions of years.

how is proving evolution a religious matter. I would not go into the science section and ask them to prove that we have a soul.

There is enough evidence to say that it's very plausible. In fact, almost all biologists take evolution (the change of allele frequency over time) for granted simply because of the mountains of evidence that support it.

A simple study about your self. Observe how you evolve or develop from a tiny tadpole to embryo to fetus to a new born baby to infancy to toddler to childhood to adolescence to adulthood, to maturity, to seniority and then to the limit of your life.
Observe how you started from innocence, to inquisitiveness, from observing to learning to understanding then from developing to creating and then to sharing.
Then enlarge your personal development a billion times until you realize that even the universe is undergoing metamorphosis which can be called evolution. You do not need to see the big picture to understand what it is.
