nope. you need a long bed and either a regular or super cab. otherwise, you'll beat the back of the cab to death. WILL NOT WORK with a short bed

An F-150 cannot do a 5th wheel. Max towing capacity on an F-150 is 11,000lbs.

You need an F-250 or higher (a 3/4 ton+ truck)

Yes.. But... A... do not exceed your towing capacity ..and.. B... You need to get the special hitch that can slide back when you need to turn sharp to park the trailer so the trailer does not hit the cab of the truck.. It can then be slid back forward and locked in position over the axle for on the road towing. It would also be best to have 3.73 or 4.10 gear ratio in the rear end (depending on how large a trailer you intend to pull). I think the special short bed 5th wheel hitch costs around $1,000...

The F-150 is a good truck to have if you are into Fords. All trucks are not good on gas, but they are better than before. Getting a 6 cylinder will save you gas compared to an 8 cylinder, but not as much horsepower. Depends on what you are going to do with it-play or work? Test drive both & you will feel the difference. I would get the 8 cylinder for the horsepower. You never know when you will need it.

Yes its capable of towing a 5th wheel trailer, just depends on how long and how much the trailer weighs. Consult your owner's manual for trailer weights.
