i ve notice by the answers that alot of people havent been around older people. main thing is after you took your mother in which i think its great but to do this you are going to have to have alot of Patience and understanding . your mom isnt young no more and she will have alot of aches and pains and yes some of it can be habit but you cant tell them they cant groan or moan you dont know what they are feeling. have compassion and understanding , walk in there shoes for awhile. i really truly hope you can get along with mom because it will change your way of living. good luck and God bless.

Its unlikely that pain noises are out of habit. More likely, her pain is not adequately controlled by her pain medication.
You might go to her next MD appointment and point out that her pain isn't being completely controlled. Make a list of the following drugs, and ask her doctor to consider using these, or increasing the doses of the ones he is already prescribing:
Avinza Neurontin
Zanaflex Lyrica
Celebrex Percocet
Duragesic Patch

Ideally, he will order a Duragesic path every three days, with an Avinza every morning, and Lyrica or Neurontin (if needed) two or three times a day. He'll order Percocet or some other drug to be taken if she still has pain after all of that.

in simple terms tell them that she is paying you to artwork for her, which you're an worker. If she can provide a paycheck then you definately are an worker and that cuts out all that criminal place of work work. you will could fill out a 1099 tax style on the tip of the 12 months and pay taxes on the earnings that she will pay you. this is the answer on your concern to this point as criminal. yet ensure you're taking a injury for your self. i'm a caregiver and you may desire to discover time for your self so as which you would be able to shelter her. hire somebody partime only one or 2 days a week or get volunteers from a community church to return in and supply you a injury. additionally there could be elder care centers attainable alongside with foodstuff on wheels and help communities. i wish this enables you. Maybe you should ask what's going on with her, and tell her politely to stop making noices of pain.

If it truly is 'habitual' in addition to real pain and all ways possible to ease her pain seem relieved, you could use some headphones with relaxing music...for her and for you. ;) good luck, peace

My grandparents also made those noises
she can't help it it's probably hard for her to breath
be tollerant , take good care of her , she is lucky to be with you and not a home somewhere you are a good person

I think you need to take her to the doctor if it is pain. not trying to be gross or any thing but my grandma does that b/c she has muscus stuck in her throat. Ask her about it.
