I pray for my cat's protection. But she has a will of her own. I pray she doesn't get out in the street.
Anyway, did your dog attack someone? If so, there is probably a law against it. Some things we don't know. Maybe your dog was sick and you didn't know it or maybe... . I can't answer, but I am sure there was a reason. Maybe God has something better for you now. Why did my mom die at a young age? Some day, maybe I will ask God, and I am sure He will tell me.
I will pray that God will restore unto you what has been taken, and better, and more.

My familys pets are like our children, we pray for their health and safety as well, but just as many christian people loose their children, we will also loode our pets, we can not loose faith, only find comfot that the dog is in a better place, and I believe as well as other christians believe (except those from the Church of God) that our pets will be in paradise as well.

I want to say something, but you may not understand it. And you will probably be offended by what I will say. But there is a correlation between you and your dog's behavior. I don't know you personally, but I have known other Christians who also had pets that attacked people. However, if you do own a pet "never" say he won't attack, only pray to God by faith that he won't attack.

I feel you. For some pets aren't a big deal, to others it is. But you have to understand that God is NOT responsible for your pet's death. It's just unfortunate circumstances. Don't lose faith, and don't blame God. It's our adversary, the devil, that makes the bad things happen in our lives. Just trust God; it may be a learning process for you. God might want to see if you can hold on to your faith when bad things happen. And He will reward you greatly if you do. Don't blame God, and don't lose your faith. Just pray to Him for strength and He'll give it to you.

Consider Job. Job was by God's own admission faultless. So why did God' allow all that Job had to be taken away and great perils to befall him? Test. God tested Job's faith, and at the end of it all, their was a lesson, Job was prideful about being godly yet God showed Job how little he really knew. All is a test, my sister-everything. I'm not saying YOU ARE prideful, I'm only stating that God's plans are bigger than we can see! Don't let your faith sway, just seek Him even harder!! I pray God will relieve your anguish and give you peace in Him!

God makes everything happen for a reason. The same thing happened to my friend's dog and she was also devasted but she just remembered all the good times she had and after a while she got a new dog who she loves more then anything. Just remember God created your dog and loves him as much as you did

God works in mysterious ways. maybe that had some spiritual significance (the dog may have hindered you in some way) or maybe there was a sin barrier, or maybe God just let nature take its course. animals can make decisions, so perhaps He doesn't manipulate them either. perhaps Balaam's donkey was just gifted so it and Balaam wouldn't be killed. Perhaps Jonah's whale/fish was led gentle to Jonah. I don't think anyone here has the perfect answer. I suggest you just try to build your faith by not giving up.

I cannot give exact details.
Only GOD Knows.
Somehow, the devils got by your Prayers.
I don't think this is cause to lose your faith.
Alot of my prayers aren't answered (that I know of) and I Still Believe in GOD.
If all of my Prayers weren't answered, I would think I was missing it, and I would Still Believe in GOD. (Jesus).
Ditto....
Sorry about your pet--I have lost quite a few Beloved Animals. I wait awhile then get me another one, hope this helps.

Satan is out to rob you of your joy, kill your trust, and destroy your faith in God. We don't have all the answers to what happens, but I know one thing for sure, that all things work together for good to those who love God and are called according to His purpose. When bad things happen, they are things that will either bring us closer to God or drive us away. If you trust Him, he will srengthen you and build the character of Christ in you. Don't let the devil rob you of the blessings that are coming to you tomorrow, because he ruined your today.
