I will definitely favor christianity being that I am a christian, However, I would not call atheism dumb, since it has to do with someone's beliefs and that should be respected.

Atheism isn't dumb, but a lot of the ones around here ask dumb questions about Christianity because they don't really understand it, and they don't want to understand it.

Well, if you want to get your argument accross, I wouldn't label the opposing viewpoint as "dumb." It's not a very persuasive move on your part. I also believe in Christ, and think Athiesm is the more ignorant viewpoint, but instead of calling their viewpoint "dumb," I would logically and politely argue why their viewpoint is not accurate. Just a suggestion. People don't tend to agree with you easily if you insult them.

Niether are dumb. If you believe there is a God, then yours will clearly be better in your eyes. If you are an athiest, you are going to see Christianity as dumb. However if you look at the big picture (from the view of a non believer/non athiest) you see that neither are dumb, just opposing beliefs.

I also say atheism. There is so much proof out there against evolution, showing that there is a God that it doesn't really make sense to be an atheist.

I believe niether is dumb, since both are based on the facts given to you. So a Christian( I am) bases his/her knowledge on facts passed to us via family and Church and God Himself. Athiests base their beliefs on facts handed to them via science, books and their own lives. If God never talked to you or showed Himself in some manner then we wouldn't believe either! So neither is "dumb" just some haven't tasted what others have. It's just a lack of facts, or a lack of God's hand that keeps us apart. God bless.
