I'm a little confused about the appropriate dosage for me...Please no rants about LSD ruining my life, I've made the decision just looking for people with some insight to help me out...

You don't state what kind it is. Just be careful, and be sure you are not alone. It is best to be with a GROUP of people. If possible, hang back and keep an eye on the other guys and girls to see how much they are taking. For your first trip, you may want to try HALF what your buddies do. Be sure to be with people you trust. Please find a safe place to hang out and do not drive. And prepare to sweat. Oh yeah, almost forgot. Don't plan on sleeping for at least 24 hours.

Some things you may want to consider:
Potency - Ask the person that you got it from how many micrograms per tab. If they don't know, you shouldn't even have purchased those tablets. If it's anywhere between 80 and 100, then 3 tabs should be good. If it's between 60 and 80, maybe take one extra. If they're below 60, I hope you bought a whole handful.
Past experiences - Have you ever done any other hallucinogens before? Mushrooms? DMT? Mescaline? Etc. If you have a lot of experience with other hallucinogens, you may want to start with 4 hits. If you've never done anything like this before in your life, maybe just 2 will be good.
Setting - If you're going be staying at home or someplace that you feel at home and tripping with a few people that you are very comfortable with than you can take more than if you are planning on going to a party or to a concert.
This doesn't apply so much to LSD as it does to mushrooms, but sometimes taking too little can be just as bad as taking too much. If you're bored and not seeing anything and getting disappionted then thats when the deep introspection starts. Some life-changing realizations can come from these trips but it's usually not fun while it's happening.

First, just know that what you're going to be taking is most likely not LSD, but rather a research chemical like DOB (see http://www.blotterart.net/gallery/album40/2768DOB_blotter_front), so you're going to be in for a dirty, long (over 24 hours) trip.
LSD is RARELY EVER found in tablet form (not since the mid 1960s), so this makes me even more skeptical that what you have is LSD.
The persons that produced over 95% of all the LSD available in North America (and probably worldwide) were busted in 2000 (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Leonard_Pickard) and since then there's been almost no real LSD on the market (not even in the Haight-Ashbury, which should tell you something!).
That said, maybe you got lucky and found some, but to be sure you could just shave off a tiny piece of the tablet, wet it with saliva on the tip of your finger, and look at the residue on your finger under a black light. Real LSD will fluoresce and glow, whereas DOB, 2CI, and most other psychedelics will not.
If you indeed do decide to try it (either DOB or LSD), start small and build up over the course of several hours. It's also a good idea to have some Valium or Xanax on hand should you want to end the trip (that's what they would give you at a hospital).

i cant answer your q but go to http://www.erowid.org/chemicals/lsd/lsd.shtml if you havent already. LSD is one of the safer drugs out there, if you find it mostly pure. many times it will be LSD and random filler chemicals. ive had good and bad, but it was always fun.

Well sucker what does it matter what the dosage is , you don't value your life. What are you trying to run away from? don't go down this path as it only leads to destruction. God has a better plan for your life, give Him a try .
