When a woman is asked about how many guys she has been with, the answer is usually "three", but can vary slightly between 2 and 5. It doesn't matter if she is 14 or 40, the answer is the same.

So either things get really really slow for women once they leave their teen years, or there is a whole lot of lying going on.

Obviously, a completely honest answer isn't going to be the first choice in most cases (unless you are trying to scare the guy away). But what would be wrong with saying "none of your business" instead? At least that way you wouldn't be lying.

Why would anyone ask that (its a stupid question that wont win you anything)? and why would they want to know? and why would anyone answer that without lying?

When you say "none of your business" it sounds like your hiding something

If we say 'none of your business', guys tend to think that we have been going around and they get scared away. If we say the truth, which believe it or not in most cases (or the cases of the girls I know), is only about 7 or so, which is not actually much when you think that most girls can go through a guy a week. You see, 3 sounds truthful, so he doesn't get scared off or think we're weird for going with to many guys. Aren't white lies better sometimes? Would you really tell your girlfriend she looked fat? I certainly hope so. It can be difficult for us to not scare guys off sometimes, so just give us a break

I've always been completely honest when a guy asks me that question!

No I dont think that it's anyone's business except my own but if the person wants to know that bad I will tell them the truth!

And if they dont like or dont believe what's coming out of my mouth....sucks for them, but at least I know I am being honest!

I just don't want to know when i get involved with someone people usually don't tell the truth but you never know if they are.. maybe they have only been with a few people or maybe none.. If you aren't prepared for a lie or for the truth then wait to ask till you know the person a lot better

most girls say 3 cause its a low # and if say anything higher they think it'll make then seem like a hoe but if they say anything below 3 they'll seem like a goody-goody 2 shoes church girl. They dont want 2 say none of your business because they dont want 2 make it seem as though they have something 2 hide. And if they have something 2 hide u two wont have a good relationship.

Well it's okay if you were a couple and having a conversation about both of your past - why not just be honest. If the relationship is a sincere one, why would one answer "it's none of your business?"

Just because someone ask you a question, you are not obligated to answer it. it is your choice, so in other words, you do not have to answer. Sometimes it is best not to answer, because, some guys holds it over your head, When you do tell them, then they can't handle the truth. Or they use it against you! So in other words, think, before you answer!

(ive never been with a guy, and i, 13, ya i know) but some grls/women feel the need to lie, because mayb they think some people will think they have been with no1 and are inexperienced if they say none of your business.

If we simply said "none of your business", you guys would automatically think it's some astronomical number.

Since it is "none of your business", why ask in the first place?

Why exactly are you asking a woman about her sexual past? If you genuinely care about her, is that truly an issue? Quite frankly, it is none of your business regardless of your intentions.
