You have excellent credit (850 is the highest) and if you apply for any loans, you can get lower interest rates than someone could with a lower credit score.
It just means you have a higher financial position & can obtain credit easier and secure the lowest interest rates. Of course lenders look at other things, like income & current outstanding debts when making their decision to determine your ability to pay back the loan.

350=lowest
850=highest

750-850 is in the 'excellent' category.

As someone else pointed out, 840 is near perfect credit. I doubt you will ever see a higher score. Most lenders will fight to get your business.

I think you know exactly what it means. Anybody that can acheive an 840 knows exactly what it means because they have used credit wisely their whole life. You are just tooting your own horn. Good for you.

It means that you have very good credit. Usually, 700 is considered excellent credit.

That means you have great credit and unless you have a high debt ratio can pretty much buy anything you want on credit....
