does anyone have any ideas of sites or anything of what to purchase to start up the dark room, etc........? Thanks A BUNCH!

http://www.pedestrianx.com/darkroom/ is a good place which shows you how to start a beginers darkroom.

Also http://photo.net/learn/darkroom/ gives you ideas on how to set up both a colour and b & w darkrooms and has really useful diagrams.

if you use 35mm, the the Daylab is a good setup. works for b/w and color 8x10 prints. it can be used without a darkroom, but of course a darkroom will give you more freedom with exposure manipulation.

Using Adobe Photoshop,you could use it for like darkroom,touchup,correction colours,etc, which easier for you to do your photos.

you should ask my teacher :) lol uhh if you want to set it up in your house, try a closet or a room with no windows and a door that you can black out the light

Digital photography makes that unnecessary. Use Photoshop instead.
