my dell desktop computer isn't starting up...every time i hit the power buttion its not coming on??? any1 know why??? or how can i fix it?

i try unplugging it but it didnt work, when i hit the power on it, starts up and shuts off again

There could be a problem with the power supply. Unplug the chord from the back of the computer and plug it back in. Turn on the computer to check if it works. If not, then your power supply has a short-circuit.

Could someone have switched off the power supply in the back of the computer? If not, the power supply may be bad.

Could the power cord be loose? Be sure to check the connections.

Best Buy and some other stores sell power supplies for computers, but the problem may be something else.

no unplug it and plug it back in maybe that would work
