Zeus and Pluto were Greek Pagan Gods and Ancient Greek history and religion were mixed together. You cannot study Greek History without studying their Gods.
It's not very different to the Hebrew faith in one God...Jewish ancient history is mixed in with their religion. The Old testament is Ancient Jewish History and religion.
Now if you study the History of Alexander the Great you can't miss the religious input; if you would condemn the Bible as a book of fables, you will also have to ignore the History of Alexander the Great as fables. Do you?

The people who lived a long, long, time ago who made the bible
are real. I believe so due to artifacts , stones and other proofs of the bible. There are also some proofs of events in the bible.
However there is no proof of:
God and the parting of the Red Sea

The bible has been "interpreted" by political entities to suit their own needs for centuries. It is more political propaganda than anything else. Think about it, what is the most common version today? The King James Version. Its all rubbish to get people to believe what you want them too, sure some of the stories are similar to phenomenon that may have occured but thats what the religion does, takes things which are otherwise unexplainable and devises some reason for them to be explained. Its a crutch.

There is none.
You are trying to compare science and a belief system.
Although these can exist at the same time, they have nothing to do with each other.
Most cultures have made up stories to explain the world around them, such as "Zeus' thunderbolts" for thunder. This helps them cope with the world, until science can come along and explain the true reasons behind things.
There will still always be a grey area.

You want proof? I'll give you proof! A changed life is proof. Everytime someone accepts Jesus into their life, because the bible says it'll make you a new person, that shows the bible is for real. You can't argue with a changed life!

definite it has. The Bible isn't meant to be interpreted as actuality. it incredibly is a METAPHORICAL WRITING. basically because of the fact it says that God shaped guy out of clay, IT does no longer propose GOD surely DID. if actuality be told, even in the e book of Genesis itself, there are 2 contradicting money owed. for sure no longer meant to be a real text cloth - anybody that considers it as such, in spite of if or no longer they are attempting to discredit faith or fanatically help it, is phenomenally retarded.

The Naked Archaeologist on the History Channel made a compelling argument for the reality of a number of Biblical events. The evidence is out there if you are willing to look.

The Bible is the inspired Word of God!
I have personal experience that the Bible is true - I put my trust in the One the Bible is all about, and I found Jesus claims to be true - personally! No-one can take my experience away over 37 years, and those all down through the centuries, billions of people whose lives have been transformed by the power of God.

All you have to do is believe. God gave us His Holy Spirit to interpret His Word.
