I found mine which says:
This was derived from the Hebrew word שׁוֹשָׁן (shoshan) meaning "lily" (in modern Hebrew this also means "rose"), perhaps ultimately from Egyptian sšn "lotus". In the New Testament this is the name of a woman who ministered to Christ. It also occurs in the Old Testament Apocrypha as the name of a woman falsely accused of adultery. The prophet Daniel clears her name by tricking her accusers, who end up being condemned themselves.

No, my name is Jenna, but my sister, Leah, does have a biblical name. It's:

From the Hebrew name לֵאָה (Le'ah) which was probably derived from the Hebrew word לְאָה (le'ah) meaning "weary". Alternatively it might mean "mistress" or "ruler" in Assyrian. In the Old Testament she was the first wife of Jacob and the mother of seven of his children.

So there ya are!! :-)))))

Yes, I do. Here's the info from the link you gave:

From the Hebrew name יְהוֹשֻׁעַ (Yehoshu'a) which meant "YAHWEH is salvation". Joshua was one of the twelve spies sent into Canaan by Moses in the Old Testament. After Moses died Joshua succeeded him as leader of the Israelites. The name Jesus is derived from this name.

My name is so cool that Jesus had to rip it off.

BOBBY is a pet form of ROBERT -
According to one opinion, ROBERT is from the Anglo-Saxon and means BRIGHT, WISE COUNSEL. Another is that ROBERT is a French name of Germanic origin introduced into England by the Normans. In this case the thinking is that it was derived from hrod meaning FAME

not biblical,however....Now maybe I can get some respect.........LOL!

Yes, my real name is Deborah, which is Hebrew for "bee" and by extension, "industrious." My mom chose the Biblical spelling as opposed to the more popular "Debra" at that time.
