Yoga Exercises can strengthen the back muscles and help reduce pain.

A chiropractor specializes In back pain. It would be best to get a diagnosis with a chiropractor. I've enclosed a link to a web site where you can find a qualified chiropractor in your area.

The words of Dr.(and I use the term loosely) David Palmer. Read this and then look at the article The anatomy of the body is such that the cranial nerves do not connect to the spine. If it did, when people break their necks and become quadriplegics, the hearing and eyesight and everything else that happens in the brain would cease to function. But they can use all senses except touch. Everything below the neck quits working. But Mr. Palmer supposedly cured a man's hearing by "adjusting " his lower spine. It can't happen. These two areas don't connect. It is a fact of anatomy. So you see from the beginning it was based on bad science. This should get the conversation going huh? But it is true.

See a chiropractor. Safer than drugs and it gets to the root cause of the pain not masking the symptoms with drugs. Pain is the body telling you that you have a problem. Taking pain meds just covers up the pain and you can actually do more damage.

My pat answer for this is to get rid of your shoes. Common sense dictates that any structure needs a good foundation. In the case of your body, that means your feet. Once you put shoes on, your foundation becomes unstable. Once unstable, your backbone tries, unsuccessfully, to adjust. Get rid of those shoes and you will note a marked improvement. Heck, even NIKE has finally come out and said there is no way to improve upon the human foot.

i dont care what any DR. says, my back hurt so bad for at least a week. my husband told me to go to see a chiropractor so i did and it was the best thing that i had ever done. who would have thought that all i need were a few adjusments and now i am doin everything again playing with kids, laundry etc. chiropractors are great, if you get a good one that knows what they are doing.
