Ulcers are typical similar to open sores in the stomach or intestine.

Peptic Ulcers are ulcers in the stomach where research has shown that most ulcers are a result of bacteria, Helicobacter pylori.

The stomach contains acids to help digest proteins. A mucus lining usually coats the stomach and protects the lining from the acid. However, weakens the mucus coating and allows the stomach acids to irritate the lining.

Non Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs and Smoking can increase the chances of getting an ulcer.

Spicy foods, stress, caffeine and alcohol do not cause ulcers, but can cause more irritation when you do have an ulcer.

The ulcers in the mouth - mouth ulcers or cancker sores, link below, has many causes from truama (biting lip), infection, chemical irritation, dietary (allergy) and cancer.

if you drink too much orange juice or even eat too much junk food that has a lot of acid in it (like salt and vinegar chips)
I have ulcers.
Your stomach's acid literally eats away at your stomach, once the acid eats a hole through your stomach, your acid will spill out of your stomach and onto your other organs if it's really bad it will do this.
