There are soooo many things to choose from!
Peas and carrots
Broccoli and cauliflower (together or separate)
Green beans
Great green salad with the works
Red, green and yellow peppers, sliced with onions and sauteed until golden and glazed.
Zucchini and mushrooms (with alittle garlic and some onion)
Does this help get the juices flowin'?

Peas with pearl onions - a little fancier than just peas to go with an extra nice dish. Wish I was eating at your house!

I usually serve it over the wavy noodles (stroganoff noodles) or rice. A nice salad is good?

How about mushrooms? That would be a good complement to the dish. You could also go with something basic, like green beans or broccoli.
