How can i get "emo hair" if i have thick hair?

razor the tips and layer it out. dye it black and straitghten it out. also tyr to rumple it a bit woth style serum in ur hands to give that i dont care look.

Why do you want to copy everyone else? But anywho, just get a picture of what you want, give it to your hair dresser, and tell him/her that you want your hair thinned out. I do it all the time, they just take this thing that looks like a scissor but has teeth on it so that when you go to "cut" the hair only a few come out (it's not like your chopping off a chunk) Sorry if I couldn't explain it better, but just tell your hair dresser that you want your hair to be thinner.

find a picture of the style u want & when u go to the stylist, ask if they can do the same thing or similar to your hair...also, ask if they can recommend some products for u to use when styling your hair at home...check this link for loads of emo hairstyles:

Go to a salon to have them thin it out, you can also do it yourself, which is what I do.
Then, use mousse and hair gel. But make sure you comb it through so it's not sticky and stiff.

I absolutely love Emo hair. :]

Some hairstreightners and hair gel and you'll be good... but you'd probably have to spend like an hour a day on your hair >_>

You should get layers and side bangs, if you want emo style, you can dye it black [but emo these days have bright hair color though, like natural red, blond] and if you want scene style [which is IN these days] then take a look at these:
