OK, listen up. A lot of people are going to tell you to bath the kittens, or that the mother will take care of it. Don't listen to them - kittens should not be bathed, and cats cannot kill fleas themselves.

Get some Frontline spray from a vet. This is designed to WORK and to be used on kittens from 2 days old. Read the dosage/application instructions, talk to your vet if you need to, and get the mother and kittens sprayed. You'll also need to treat the house because there WILL be fleas in the carpet (move cat family to different room while treating carpet)

No Dawn Dishwashing Soap, no bathing the kittens. Just nice, safe, effective, spray from the vets.

attempt bathing it in a sprint one shampoo that has lavender in it. My pal instructed me that flees do no longer purely like the lavender. (?) So while my kitten had flees I bathed her in it, plus she smells great. I extensively utilized Sergeant's Nature's parent: organic Flea and Tick Powder. It states that that's for kittens 12 weeks or older yet mine grew to become into a similar age as yours. I had to do something i did no longer want flees in my domicile. It worked and that i bathed her many times until eventually they have been long previous. She is a 12 months previous now and that i've got no longer seen a flee provided that then. even nevertheless, she is a house cat and does not pass out in any respect. I nonetheless bathe her interior the newborn shampoo. good good fortune!

Mama has fleas that she has passed on. Get her a good flea med...check with your vet for a safe med for the kittens, de-flea your house and especially the area where they are.
